Bailey has been doing music for pretty much her whole life and as well as being a stellar singer she also plays, piano and guitar.
She joined the Farro team from Rotorua, where she grew up. It was in her high school years that Bailey started getting more serious about her art, dreaming of a future career in the music industry. She created her own YouTube channel that now boasts 10.8k subscribers and 1,428,987 million views.
It was in 2019 that Bailey had her first breakthrough in the music industry, she entered a competition on Instagram run by Kiwi talents, Drax Project, where she made it in to the top three, and performed their song Catching Feelings alongside the band themselves in front of approximately 2,000 people. She says it was really fun and is an opportunity she’ll never forget.
Bailey has been at Farro since 2018 and says that she loves our lovely range of flowers. Her other secret talent that shows at the checkouts is her “punny” sense of humour and her ability to make everyone smile, When asked what her favourite Farro pun was, “This one time it was really busy and a customer accidentally dropped a jar of pickles on the ground and it smashed, I looked around and said, well I guess we’re in a bit of a pickle, that made everyone laugh”.
When Bailey isn’t doing music or working with us part time at the checkouts as a Duty Manager, she is studying a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Auckland double majoring in Māori and Korean studies.
