Rush Munro is the oldest ice cream manufacturer in New Zealand, established in 1926, and through all this time has managed to remain privately owned and operated. We not only love them because of their rich legacy but because they consistently produce gold award winning and absolutely delicious ice creams – their most recent of these awards being, The Supreme Award for Boutique Manufacturer at the 2014 ice cream awards.
These ice creams are hand crafted and batch churned in the Hawke’s Bay and are a 100% natural ice-cream, which is the kind of thing we love to make available in our Farro Fresh stores. Wherever possible, they use local ingredients, they always use real fruit and no colouring or preservatives, and they have an extensive range of iconic flavours to choose from. Boasting a large array of flavours, some that we supply here at Farro Fresh include; cookies and cream; boysenberry; vanilla bean; hokey pokey; double chocolate; rum and raisin; maple and walnut; passionfruit; strawberries and cream; mochaccino; and banana.
