SHOPPING AT FARRO DURING COVID-19 ALERT LEVEL 3

With the Government announcement made onf extending Covid-19 alert level 3 until 11.59 pm Sunday, 30 of August, Farro stores will remain open as an essential service. Our top priority is the wellbeing of our customers and our staff. 

All Farro stores remain open 7 days with online delivery also available to provide you with fresh food and essentials. With the change in Covid-19 alert level we kindly ask everyone to continue to work together and read the below information to help keep us all safe:

Store hours - Remain the same, please visit our website to see your local store hours.

Contactless delivery - If you can’t make it down to your local Farro, you can order online from our range of ready to heat and cook meals at Farro.co.nz or get same-day grocery delivery via Snap Delivery, while slots are available. We will be implementing contactless drop-offs. 

Store check-in is a condition of entry - All customers must use the Government COVID-19 tracing app. We ask that you still shop as individuals and if you don’t need to, please avoid bringing children into store.    

Customer limits - We will again be restricting the number of people in-store to ensure everyone can keep a safe 2-metre distance.

Hygiene & Distance - Please keep your distance from other shoppers and sanitise your hands when entering the store. If you’re unwell, please ask someone else to shop for you.  

Care & share -  Please only take what you need to ensure that there is enough for everyone. We will have restrictions of 4 items per person on pasta, rice, baking essentials and tinned tomatoes.

Emergency workers - We are giving preferential entry into our stores to emergency workers so they can avoid any queues. 

Safe staff - The Farro team will again wear masks and protective screens have been reinstalled at checkout. We will have tape on the floor at checkout and service counters to guide 2-metre social distancing. No reusable cups or containers While in Level 3 we will not accept reusable coffee cups or containers.

High-risk customers - We encourage any high-risk customers to stay home and use either of online shopping options (farro.co.nz or Snap Delivery) or email us for help.
