Festive Eggnog

Who tells the best eggnog jokes? Comedihens! Beautifully spiced with Christmas cinnamon and nutmeg, and using the best free-range eggs around, this punchy eggnog will keep the whole family on good terms.

Ingredients

8 Egg yolks + 2 egg whites

1 tsp Vanilla paste

1/4 tsp Ground nutmeg

1/2 cup Caster sugar

1 cup Cream

1L Blue milk

1/3 Cup brandy or rum

Pinch ground cinnamon

2 Cinnamon sticks, to serve

Method

Separate egg whites and yolks. Add vanilla, nutmeg and sugar to egg yolks and whisk until smooth and creamy

Pour in cream, milk and brandy (or rum) and whisk until combined

Whisk egg whites in a separate bowl until just stiff. Carefully fold into creamy mix

Pour into glasses, sprinkle with cinnamon and serve with cinnamon sticks
