Grilled halloumi

Nothing beats the salty, squeaky phenomenon that is halloumi – except grilled halloumi sweetened with honey and herbs. Throw some pistachio nuts in the mix and you’ve got a knockout mezze addition.

Prep: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes


Take 1 packet Adella halloumi. Cut into 1cm slices.

Place in a bowl with 1 tablespoon honey, 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil, zest of 1 lemon, 1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano. Mix to coat.

Grill halloumi in a hot non-stick frying pan or griddle pan.

Place on serving dish, drizzle with extra honey and top with chopped pistachio nuts and fresh oregano.
