Hibiscus Refresher

Hibiscus flowers are available dried at Farro Fresh and make a delicious hot beverage. Cold they are a real thirst quencher ideal for summer weather to have on hand in the fridge and a rather good cocktail mixer.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons Tio Pablo dried hibiscus flowers

2 litres just boiled water

Lemon, sliced

Lime, sliced

orange, sliced

Fresh mint leaves

Method

Steep the flowers and allow to cool completely before draining and discarding the flowers

In a large jug mix the steeped flower tea with slices of limes, oranges and lemons and plenty of fresh mint and ice

You can add sparkling water for some sugar free fizz
