Maple syrup makes a glorious glaze for ham, giving it a wonderful sheen. Apple cider vinegar cuts the sweetness while wholegrain mustard gives texture and tang.
½ cup maple syrup
1 Tbsp soy sauce
½ cup apple cider vinegar
2 Tbsp wholegrain mustard
Place all the ingredients in a small saucepan, bring to boil, lower heat and simmer for 5 min until thickened slightly.
Set aside until ready to use
