PACKS A PUNCH

A large-format drink like this is great for a crowd - you can keep the base non-alcoholic and let your guests choose to top with sparkling wine or soda water!

Ingredients

60ml pomegranate molasses

500ml freshly squeezed orange juice

150ml rum, whiskey or vodka (optional)

250ml dry ginger beer

Sparkling wine or soda water, to top

To garnish: 

Orange slices

Fresh mint

Method

In a pitcher, add pomegranate molasses, orange juice and spirits if using. Mix well, ensuring the sticky molasses dissolve. Add the ginger beer and stir. Leave in the fridge if not using right away.

When ready to serve, pour the punch base into ice-filled glasses.

Top with sparkling wine or water and garnish with orange slices and sprigs of fresh mint.
