This is like a classic Roman pizza. Pizza bases are topped with tomato sauce, sliced pork sausages, chopped bacon and mozzarella and baked until the base is crisp, the sausages cooked and the cheese melting.
Farro Classico Pizza Dough
210 gram Pizza Sauce
450 gram Farro Classic Pork sausages sliced 2cm
80 gram bacon, thinly sliced
200 gram dry mozzarella for pizza thinly sliced
60 gram pitted kalamata olives
6 gram Basil leaves
Preheat the oven to 220C.
Roll out pizza dough to desired thickness and put the pizza bases side by side on a clean surface. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over both
Put half of the sausages and bacon evenly over the sauce. Put the mozzarella and olives on top
Place side by side on an ovenproof tray and place in the oven, preferably on a preheated pizza stone
Bake 15 minutes or until the bases are crisp, the sausages cooked and the cheese bubbling. Serve sprinkled with the basil leaves
