Smoked Salmon Cream Cheese Dip

Fast and easy to prepare, this bagel-inspired dip is made with delicious Aoraki salmon.

Ingredients

¼ tsp dried fine garlic powder

¼ tsp poppy seeds

½ tsp sesame seeds

1 lemon

½ tub (125g) ricotta

4 Tbsp cream cheese

1 tsp dried dill

¼ tsp salt

180g Aoraki Hot Smoked Salmon

1 Tbsp capers

Fresh dill or chives, chopped

Bagel crackers, to serve

Method

Mix the garlic powder, poppy seeds, and sesame seeds and set aside. Zest the lemon and set the zest aside. In a bowl, mash the ricotta and cream cheese with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, the dried dill, and the salt and blitz until smooth.

Smear the ricotta mix onto a wide platter. Break up the hot smoked salmon and scatter it over. Add the capers and herbs, then sprinkle over the garlic seed mix and lemon zest.

Serve with bagel crackers.
